This is a well-known, 100% NZ owned and operated retail brand specialises in goods for sports and the great outdoors! With 200+ staff, and stores across NZ, they have been in operation for over a century. They have an excellent e-commerce store, built on Magento, that is fully bedded into the business and has a dedicated team.

In this role, you’ll lead on all things e-commerce. There are currently 3 sites: B2C, B2B and the Australian e-comm site. You will set the e-commerce strategy, including sales, customer user-experience, merchandising and ensuring an overall good brand representation. You will co-manage a team of 10 people (mainly customer services folks) and work closely with the product, marketing, and buying teams.

- Monitor the performance, functionality, and content of the webstore to continue the high-quality customer experience.
- Utalise the existing systems and processes in place.
- Closely collaborate with several internal teams.

about you
Ideally, you will come from a retail e-commerce background and be familiar with large-scale e-commerce websites. You will have knowledge of catering to a great user experience, enticing customers and integrating both the e-commerce and retail stores.
- You’ll have proven experience in a retail/transactional e-commerce environment.
- You’ll have a high standard of communication skills – verbal and written.
- Ideally, you’ll have some leadership/management/2IC experience.
- You’ll be a team player and work collaboratively across multiple teams.
